At Hope, we understand that sharing our resources with others is one of the ways God calls us to serve and care for one another. As such, we open our facility to various community groups and individuals to use and rent for various purposes. Below is some information about renting our facility and information about the regularly recurring community groups that meet at Hope.

Creative Soul
Creative Soul, previously known as Tangle 365, utilizes the Zentangle Method—an easy, relaxing, and enjoyable approach to crafting stunning images through drawing structured patterns known as tangles. These tangles are drawn using a mix of dots, lines, simple curves, S-curves, and orbs on petite squares of paper referred to as "tiles," culminating in a wonderfully unexpected artwork.

Recovery Dharma
Fridays 6:30pm-7:30pm
Meetings begin March 14
At Recovery Dharma, we learn to gently investigate the underlying causes of our substance and process addictions, which we’ve often found rooted in pain and trauma.
Our trauma-informed practice emphasizes compassion, non-judgment, and spaciousness to tenderly understand why we turned to our addictive habits for relief or survival.
We don't rely on motivators of shame and fear. This is a program of empowerment and we don’t rely on anything other than our own potential to change and heal. We believe in our inner wisdom; that there’s a pure seed of good in each of us that can always be nourished.
In recovery, everyone deserves a chance and a choice. But regardless of the path or program chosen, we want every person suffering from addiction to be able to find the recovery program that meets their needs. Click here to read more about Recovery Dharma.

Scouts
Wednesday Nights
Hope Lutheran Church is the Charter Organization for Farmington Hills Scout Troop 263 and Pack 263. Troop 263 was formed in 1962 when Troop 163 had become too large. Since 1962, they have guided 139 Eagle Scouts with the support of 19 Scout Masters. They currently have 27 Scouts, and we support them with recruiting and providing meeting spaces as their Charter Organization. The Scouts in turn assist Hope with volunteer needs as they arise. We are happy to be in partnership with the Scouts and to welcome them into our facility.

These are the Aims of Scouting, and it's never too young to start! Cub Scout Pack 263 is a place where boys and girls, grades K-5, can come and start to learn these all-important lessons. The best part is they do it all while having fun in a family-friendly, outdoor-centered program.
